LX ProductScan allows consumers to have extended engagement and an enhanced consumer experience with manufacturers, producers or retailers that utilize LocatorX’s suite of products. One quick scan allows you to compare the product in your hand with information you captured as it was manufactured or provided by retailer.
Both before you purchase and throughout your ownership of a product, LocatorX allows retailers and product manufacturers to provide virtually unlimited ways to add value to you as the consumer. Some examples of how you might use LX ProductScan in your everyday life*:
• Before you buy (no need to provide any personal information)...
• Ensure the product is valid (not a counterfeit)
• Validate a product’s ingredients, date of manufacture or expiration
• Review feature list, how-to videos or product comparisons
• Determine presence of allergens (food-borne, fabric, etc.)
• Review product history and path to market
• Determine degree of recycled or sustainable-materials content
• Check recall status
• Check product reviews and ratings
• After you buy (may need to provide email, etc. for product registration, etc.)
• Receive coupons for future purchases of same or related products.
• Product use or instructional information
• Explore recipes, complementary products, user groups, etc.

About LX ProductScan

How to install LX ProductScan on your iOS device:

- After LX ProductScan is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
